This is, perhaps, my most favourite among Tolkien's poems. I love how its starts with a flip of the popular saying and makes it more powerful. All that is gold does not glitter felt like a tenet to hold for life when I first read these verses, and I still believe it is so.
I like the rhyme scheme ABAB as it has a very rhythmic feel to it. Not all those who wander are lost are actually lines from my heart and at times, I wear them on my feet! I also feel that the Hindi word for wander, "bhatakna" encapsulates the essence of the word just a wee bit better than wander does :).
